LTN 16 has been updated to include current legislation and to take account of the repeal of ss.92-94A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 by the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. The repealed provisions contained principal authority powers to issue Litter abatement notices, Litter cleaning notices and Street litter control notices.
