Reminder if you have ordinary elections this year

NALC briefing L01-14 confirms that ordinary elections for councillors will move to co-incide with the European Parliamentary general election on 22nd May 2014.

IF your council has ordinary elections in 2014 (check because different unitary authorities have elections at different times) then the date of the annual meeting should take place between the 4th day after the date of the election which is 22nd May and 31st July.
