Evening training on Planning for town and parish councils

 

Wednesday 17th July 2013            6pm – 9.30pm

Who should come:

All councillors, both new and experienced.

What will you get out of it:
•    You will find out about changes to the planning system, the NPPF, Core Strategies/Local Plans
•    You will learn how to make relevant observations on planning applications and to understand what material considerations are
•    You will understand more about the need to know relevant policies in your Core Strategy

The evening will be run by Rob Lindsey, MRTPI, experienced Development Management planner

Registration and refreshments are available from 6pm, the training starts promptly at 6.30pm

Please note a minimum number of participants is 20, if sufficient bookings are not received by Friday 5th July 2013, the event will have to be postponed.
